The link says not harmful to humans and not that large. About 3cm. I guess that what is of interest is that it is a newly discovered species.

The Tarantula hawk has a grim lifecycle with its larvae eating the paralyzed tarantula’s innards and saving vital organs until very last to keep the arachnid alive. Once the Tarantula dies, the newborn Hawk wasp emerges. A great analogy for relationships some of us have endured!

Man, I stay away for spiders if I can. Got bitten by a Brown Recluse. Never felt it. Was laid up over a week trying to heal my leg. I had a large area of necrosis from the venom. Freaked out the doctor who was treating it which freaked me out too. Glad this is down under and not here in Delaware!
