Had mine about a year and a half.
    Plays and sounds just fantastic.

Only mod was compensated saddles and like any newer guitar I had it level and crowned.

Early last summer I bought a nice set of Fralin noiseless Split Blades. Never had them installed because the factory issue pickups are great, other than the G & B poles being a little dominant on the bridge pup.

Is that a satin finish? I love mine, but be careful, it's really thin.

    Where's the switch tip?

    I was expecting this:

    Parker Fly, anyone?

The current Player and Performer series Teles and Strats are possibly the best models to come off the production line in 20 years.

Took off. Too big, gets in the way.
I could hv put a skinnier one on there, but I haven't cut my hand yet.

I probably tried to bend it forward to get it a little out of the way like that Gatton used to do, but it probably didn't do much.

    Yes, satin finish
They tried to upcharge me for a satan finish, and I said no no no.

Yeah, no. That satin finish is standard.

Mine is just starting to get a little shiny by the forearm area. I like the look a lot. No fingerprints unless you’ve got greasy fingers, and then just a warm wash cloth with the smallest amount of mild soap cleans it right back to satin.

Got the HS one, expecting to put other pickups in. After 10 minutes of playing, it was decided: The stock ones aren't going anywhere. I just added a second tone control on a plate with an angled switch slot (and a B16). Pickups stayed, and always will, as long as I own it.

I like them and was shopping for one when the deal for the Am Pro fell in my lap when the Am Pro IIs were released. I still might add the Hum model to my collection, vintage white or the satin surf green.
