I'm not particularly a fan of Sweetwater, but this thing is beautiful and someone here should get it. I would, but I have a 60s Baja on layaway and I already have a 50s, look at that grain on the headstock :eek::eek:

I love Sweetwater. Only online store I've ever had a problem with was American Music Supply.

Actually makes me wonder why I never picked up the 7lb used one that sat on craiglist for around $500 for weeks.

I'm not a huge fan of the wood grain on the body but that neck is pretty cool

I agree, I love Sweetwater. I think they do a lot of positives for musicians and the music scene besides sell gear.

I think they are a great entity.

Maybe if it had a rosewood neck.

Actually, this is the first time I've thought a sunburst with a maple FB looks pretty cool! Funny how likes/dislikes can drift over time...

Nice. I fell in love with a Baja after I finally got a chance to try one. That neck/headstock is beautiful. Sweetwater is our online place to go. Great technical assistance too.

BTW, that is about the weight I like in a tele.

But that 2-tone burst is way too red in pics. Hope it is more brown in reality, and lighter.
Many Fender reissues today have 2-tone sunbursts too red and dark IMO.

    Otherwise it is great guitar.

Sweetwater has been great to me.

Can't beat the Baja 50s in whatever color your choose!

Funny how tastes differ, I wouldn't like it specifically because of that wood grain on the headstock. But if someone likes grain, they would love that.
