If only I had a persecution complex... I could say something almost funny!
And this from the guy who doesn't even have a winder and wins the open class...!

I'm pretty sure you had better first-hand material for inspiration, but I'd like to sign up for that program too when we find it!

And this from the guy who makes guitars from concrete and basses from dreams...! :D

    Thanks, Chris!
I was pretty much just documenting that I'm using templates and a spiral hinge bit to get my body outline and chambers started. Then I use a spiral trim bit to get some reference points so that I can accurately line up the template on the back. I took pics of the hogging out process on the drill press, but my cf card crashed....(grrr...). I'll update more later when I take some new pics. Right now the bodies are sitting and relieving stress (kinda like me...haha).

Stoked that you dig 'em. I love that internal pic of the Koll. Eventually I'm going to bend sides, but that's a bit further down the road.... I forgot to mention Matt Artinger. He's another amazing artist that I think you'd like.

    Cheers!

As a guy who has built 3 Chris inspired headstock designs I'm amazed that you keep coming up with new ones that are just as cool as all the other... well, cool ones. I gotta tap into that creativity and start coming up with good headstocks. For example here is one of my favorite Anyone headstock designs.

And Chris isn't lying about how many guitar designs he's made. Here's one sitting on my bench that needs some attention. Chris was this body idea #7,889 or #7,890?

But that headstock is doing nothing for me, gotta come up with something better. I'll go doodle some waves I guess, better late than never.

Yeah, Matt Artinger is amazingly gifted. I've actually double-checked to make sure I didn't subconsciously rip off his headstock design, but then I got more tripped up over it because that required studying his headstock design.... What a vicious cycle! :D

Wait, what??? Those are awesome, especially like the detail where the forearm goes. We need more pictures of both those. Some cool contours going on there.
