I'm with you on that one!

This pic is funny... I guess people go where the money is and then when they get there they try to get back where they started from with this Tele copy. But, I have heard that fender is not very supportive of their signature artists. Oh yea, JD is a great picker!

From this vantage point, those fret markers are not that noticeable.

Ouch is right. Boo!! Poor Form....

She's still quite stunning, right fetching, alluring, and attractive. If you want "a-typical" go to Dean's Booth.

Yes, Palo Escrito is a hearty & plentiful wood from Mexico. It has been used on Fender's Ensenada Acoustics from their start ~ 2 years ago.

That's it! Many thanks. The sunburst with the tortoise guard is the #1 (a John Cruz Masterbuilt) and the Lake Placid Blue is a CS team built one (a great playing guitar that I reserved with the dealer who won the raffle for it at the show). If I don't change my mind, I'll have it late next week. One of best playing Strats I've ever played in my life. Never liked relic strats that much, but this one is a killer player, have to make up my mind by Tuesday. Thanks again for the pics.

I think the rosewood tele is the most beautiful tele ever made. Can you still get them? Or only used?

    jwells,
1.) the body is regular size
2.) the guitar is very, very light, so I'm guessing hollow body, or at least chambered.
3.) Pretty sure the port is for the cone based on answer 2.)
4.) No holes in the back of the body, except for the covered holes for the electronics. The electronics goes in from the back.

It was pretty chaotic today so I was not able to ask anyone about the Resonator. Sorry don't know anymore about it. I did get a better shot of it today. See link below.

    63strat,
I added a pic of the maple neck sunburst CS Strat. See link below.

More pics if anyone is interested. I'll add more pics to the photobucket dump tomorrow.

RelicStrat......... Thanks again. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar.

Hugo ..................The all rosewoods Telecasters are only available as the used MIJs from the 80s and 90s and limited Custom Shop models. The Custom Shop models sell for $4K+. Here's what appears to be a Custom Shop model on Ebay.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230078590589&fromMakeTrack=true

I've never actually seen one of the Custom Shop models but based on those Ebay pictures and RelicStrat's pictures, it appears the Custom Shop models have a satin finish. The MIJs have a glossy finish.

That was the most dumb a** comment I've seen this year on TDPRI. I guess congratulations are in order.

Not really. It may have been harsh to say she "stinks," but there certainly is too much teeth and gums. Given that she's selling sex appeal, I don't think it's a crime to point out the flaws in the workmanship. On the other hand, we have that Palo Escrito Telecaster, which I give a hearty, unqualified "OH, MAMA!"

Again, it was the dumbest and rudest post I've seen this year, your post defending him is the second place "winner".

She's just a girl trying to make a couple bucks as a model, perfect in her own right. It is not a crime to be rude, it's just obnoxious.
