I sent the seller a message as well. It contained the phrase, "Either you are unbelievably stupid, or you should be in jail."

I think it's legit. Didn't Leo open the Japanese custom shop in 1954?

I think the expert who said that was hospitalized immediately afterwards for a severe eye-rolling injury.

The white string holder is made of real ivory not plastic. This guy knows his stuff!

    Late 70s early 80s Hondo?

If you bought this guitar thinking it was a 1960 Tele you deserve what you get.

The bids already have it over-priced.

    There's one born every minute...

It may not be a Fender, but it might be worth $150 ... Maybe not ...

Hey, it's got 34 bids. Someone must know something we are missing.

Actually, I think this one belongs over in the Catalog Guitars thread.

I think it is real! What a deal! I just put a maximum bid of $25,000 on that!

    Or not.

Since the max bid right now is $163.50, I think everyone else is thinking the same thing.

It's a matsumoko (sp?) made Tele copy from Japan. I rebuilt one for a customer a few years back. Turned out awesome!
