....buy a sports car, or sell everything to travel, have a spiritual awakening or decide to their leave their spouses or practice adultery.

Me? I go my ears pierced again. Pierced by a young man that could have been my son. AT THE MALL FOR GOODNESS SAKES.

The girlfriend finds it quite sexy.

I got a tat scheduled tomorrow. Not my first by any means and I got piercings too. I'm 59. Buying a bunch of cheap distortion pedals also helps kill the pain.

    Rock on brother.

No need to re-pirece my ear. Did it myself, way back in high school(twice in the left, none right). Been there so long they just stay open whether I wear anything in them or not.

Put one of those old Fender tuning pegs from the bottom of the toolbox in it, that will keep it open.

I'm kind of glad I missed so much of middle age. By now an eyebrow piercing would be dangling in front of my eye.

I have an irrational fear that someone would just rip out earrings so I will never get my ears pierced. Same goes for tattoos.

Well I did the cliche thing and bought a sports car, and I don't regret it one bit (yet).

I faced middle age, and it punched me in the nose!
Luckily, I'm almost through with it.

I've been told that I am in a mid-life crisis since I was 35 and still in a mid life crisis at 60. When does it end?

It all depends on what your life expectancy is. Looks like it keeps going up. seems like you should live to 120.

I would encourage everyone to go ahead and schedule that tat. Or several, while you're at it.

A good friend co-owns a couple of tattoo removal clinics, and he's doing very, no I mean, VERY well, even though the lasers cost around a quarter mil. a pop. He's got the latest, greatest multi spectral jobs.

He invites us to go boating with he and his wife, and is thinking about a bigger boat. .:D

To have a mid life crisis, you have to grow up first. I'm not quite there yet so the mid life crisis is still in the future. :)
