If you have Amazon Prime you should watch the Rolling Stones Some girls live 1978 tour concert. It's loose, smoky and fun

Yeah, watching that made me think I was witnessing what guitar playing is all about. I bet going to a concert in that time period was such a great experience

I love that concert! There’s a quirky little riff Keith adds towards the end of Beast of Burden that I’ve never heard him use before or since. Love it!!!

I saw them on that tour in '78 in Hampton, VA. It was hotter than hell that summer, the floor was a sweat pit, the Stones were running late, and Peter Tosh finally brought some cool reggae on stage to calm things down. It was epic.......

I saw that tour in Tucson that summer, when Linda Ronstadt came out and sang Tumbling Dice with them. Didn’t know there was a movies from that tour. Is it newly released?

My first thought, too. One of Marr's greatest guitar parts blended with Morrissey's quirkiest lyrics. Love it!

I think Ronnie Wood was really, really good on that tour.

Yeah, I know I'm going back a bit........ but I just found my Xmas present from about 2012! Gal at the time gave me Exile, Ya-Ya's and Some Girls.
Remember the vinyl of SGs when it came out, played it to death. 40yrs later first time I've heard it in entirety. Reckon it's a gem from a time I could take or leave the Stones.
Listening to this re-mastered edition (also has a bonus disc, dunno what that is yet) is 100% memories and enjoyment.......;)

I saw the opening show for that tour right after I graduated high school and about 1 week before I went into the Air force. I believe they cut that tour short so Keef could go dry out yet again. Ronnie's Zemaitis was front and center most of the show.
    My favorite band.

Why do all the best Stones songs have Keith on vocals?

Some Girls is the album that made me pick up a guitar.

Yet another addiction blamed on Keith Richards!
