    1. Automatic dark mode for your computer, phone and vital apps.
    2. Bicycle dropper posts.
    3. Robots in my car.
    4. Canning for small brewers.
    5. Stretch fabrics that aren't tights.
    6. LED bulbs that change hue and brightness.

I'm sure I could make the list much bigger but I need to get ready for work. #3 is a serous contribution to safety. Maybe same for #5.

I should have guessed about fabrics earlier. Now I know how my wife, daughter and others can look so cute and still function without hurting themselves.

Auto up and down for car windows. I laughed when it first came out, but now actually holding the button down for more than a second seems primitive.

Theater lighting in my refrigerator. 'Cuz that old fashioned, instant on light was so hard on the eyes.

NOMOROBO......I think our third-world brethren would have a more primitive solution for robo-calls.

That would suck. I love having Google Maps up for many reasons. Besides directions, it warns me of traffic slow downs, dangers, and provides alternate routes. Won't leave home without it.

Music...it fixes my mind by changing my perspective, thus increasing my patience and lifting my mood.

Then I can deal with everything else.

I'm not sure those exist or will be a thing. We're very close to far more BEVs where you phone does a lot with a Tesla.

We are getting closer to cars that won't start with alcohol on your breath. AFAIK, the current technology is an all or nothing which would be fine for something like a bus or truck fleet. I'm sure it will be voluntary by manufacturers or get pressure from insurance when something like 1 drink is allowed. Something like the way AEB coming to all cars in two years.

I was meaning solutions we have now but it's fun to think about the future.

It does surprise me that we don't have more appreciation for stretch fabric. I'm not just talking about growth of Lululemon stock price or the 1970s disco double-knits on guys. I confess to being a few weeks into the second generation of cutting edge of cargo pants. I expected more to be onboard with that.

Eventually, from the stuff on your list, I'd put that on top!

Are you sure that isn't solving some third world problems?

Softer, quieter clothes for my butler.

He’s way more comfortable and I’m not nearly as annoyed with him when he’s handing me things or generally moving about the house...

    Those are so great.

As soon as I go into the restaurant near us that has them, I go take a humongous dump, not wash my hands, and then I come back and order me some food !

    Yum !
