Solid State amp you've known and loved,,, or hated,

Seems solid state amps never went away, they've integrated in ways with digital and tubes amps.

What are your thoughts on solid state in 2020?

Don't know what's on the SS market these days. Are there some that are just regular "old school" solid state transistor amps that don't use any digital or modeling tech? Possibly Quilter? Anyways I love older SS Peavey amps. Still have my 1986 Peavey Bandit 65 and it sounds good enough that I still gig with it sometimes depending on the venue.

They do have a great sound and the trem circuit is perfect. I replaced the original Gibson speaker with a Jensen C10R about 10 years ago as it was starting to sound a little muddy. Would love to get ahold of a G50 or a G70

The trem circuit is one of the benchmarks of sound in my head…it’s almost as perfect as the tremolo/vibrato/whatever in the old Tremoluxes and 63 Vibroverbs…
