What live rock 'n roll should sound like. I like how at about 5:13 you can hear him turn his volume back up.

I grew up in OC, CA. So Social Distortion in many ways is like coming home to me.

But I also lived in Austin for a decade. So... Butthole Surfers is kinda like coming to my second home.

They also just happened to write the best lyrical line ever.

    Yeah. Rock out. Whatever.

You should read Gibbys new book, "Me and Mr. Cigar".

    He's a clever guy.

Saw 'em a bunch back in the early 80's, even let Mike Ness use my amp once when when we opened for 'em. On any night they could either be strung out and terrible, or the best effin' band on the planet...

Late to the game. I got introduced to them about 15 years ago by my then, new SIL. He was right. I really like them. Apparently there was some good music in the 80s afterall.;)

I had a YouTube video of Mike Ness doing “Devil In Miss Jones”. I think it was from Woodstock ‘99. Most of the band had on cowboy hats, and they were dressed well.

Anyway, about 3/4 of the way through the song, the steel player grabs a Tele and plays a tasty lead while holding the guitar above his shoulder.

Does anyone have this video? I’ve searched many ways, but I can’t come up with it. It must have been deleted.
