So we have Kate Bush backed by an all star band, how could this clip NOT be awesome?

Well we have Pete Townshend and Midge Ure on guitars.
    John Bundrick on keyboards
    Peter Hope-Evans on blues harp.
    Mick Karn on bass
    And Phil Collins on drums.

There's no way this wouldn't be awesome.

With Dave Gilmour who helped kick start her career.

KB is an incredible writer/singer. Still a teen when writing some of her best stuff.

The Red Shoes album had an all star cast of musos as well... Clapton, Prince, Beck to name a few...

Lip sync'd performance of the opening track... but why spare the visuals - eh?

    booked end with...

Kate always reminded me of a female Peter Gabriel , with her creative approach to theatrical shows and her dancing like early genisis

It's the performance where her dress straps broke at the end. She managed to cope with it pretty well, but it explains why she runs off. There are those who believe that it happened because of psychic emanations coming from a guy sitting at the front called Fred Vermorel (author of a number of books about music fans) who used to stalk her.

Never saw that vid in the OP. Beautiful.

Fretless bass is so prevalent in Kate's music. I'd never paid much attention to it until the last few years.
