I have quite the guitar collection... and a Squier Bronco bass. In defense of the Squier, I did upgrade all the wiring and throw in a SD Hot Rail. I also sanded down and Tru-Oiled the neck.

But this Warwick... it is an absolute work of art. I always see Warwick's come and go, but they are always stupid expensive and I can't justify it. This one is so reasonably priced and plays/sounds incredible. This will be a great addition to the home studio.

These are nice. They balance well and sound rich. Pretty.

Careful with bargains! See where my bargain led me.

My 96 Corvette (centre in the picture) was the only pawn shop bargain I ever got at around £300. Loved it and had to add a matching 5 from the same year and a fretless 5 a little later.

On a tangent I was watching the James Taylor/Carole King concert and Sklar was playing what looked like an old P Bass with an extra hum cancelling pickup near the bridge. The finish was coming off and it looked like an office Christmas card since it was covered in signatures.

If there is a cooler player who plays better lines i’d sure like to hear ‘em!

Lee talks about the signed P Bass around 12 minutes in.

Thank you WW...my inner nerd thanks you!

Love the signatures...He's got some of the 1982 LA Dodgers' World Series team and Oscar the Grouch.

And for some reason I never knew Sklar played bass on Billy Cobham's Spectrum. Tommy Bolin was so bright on that I guess I didn't see.

My weekend coffee ritual is catching up with Lee Sklar videos. It’s like zooming with Santa.

And the light up middle finger is the coolest feature I’ve ever seen on any instrument.
