Its 2019 and we were focused on Performer Series , then new Vintera. Namm Summer show just came and Squier family have been given lots of colour options and new models.

The biggest step that Fender did is that that they have added Starcaster to Squier series. I believe they do test us, they want to see how many of us will get cheaper version of it. Eventually they will add them to Player or Vintera line later on.

Bullet star got a few new colours, new bullet tele, new modified strats and many more. As for myself apart from having two Mim Teles, standard and player i would like to taste new squier line. In my previous post i said about strat in olympic white from 70. I might think of starcaster too.

They have rebranded also 50's teles. I was afraid they they would remove these. It was first tele i played in my life in local guitar store.

This is what i am aiming for : https://shop.fender.com/en-US/squie...classic-vibe-70s-stratocaster/0374020501.html

Natural Blonde Starcaster will steal hearts for sure, love the wierd headstock

    Whats your thoughts so far?

Apart from having fenders do you consider getting some new squiers? I do ! :)

I'm happy with the old Classic Vibes that I have.
the new ones all seem to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. nah, nope, thanks.;)

My thoughts are that I’d love to see a Classic Vibe Coronado added to the mix, in some cool 60s colors.

Those Starcasters are bound to show up in the Seattle alternative scene.

I think squire have been pimped out in 2019, tarted up with pretty coloured lipstick but downgraded in the love and attention to detail department judging by what I have seen of their flagship CV range.

This is going by the two CV jaguars I have played recently. The quality wasn't close to that of my 2011 50's CV tele.

Since most of us guitar players already have all of (or well-more than) the guitars we will ever need, Fender (a business enterprise, being in the business of continuing to sell guitars AND amps moving forward) are doing their best to stimulate ongoing sales with new model variations, new colors, new features, etc.

Fender MUST do that... or shrink, and die!

I wish they would offer a Squier Esquire in the States. The guitar in my avatar is my only Squier and I’m thing about an Esquire conversion.

The new Squiers do look very cool.

You are correct, sir - looks like the site accidentally pasted the paragraph for the Bullet Mustang into the description for the Bullet Tele.

Yeah, the ad is wrong on further inspection :)

They could have added white bullet and Red tele. I dont think sunburst will sell that much. Black Red and white sells. The most.

I be getting squier 70 cv strat in 3 weeks,. I will make a video of it

I'm liking the look of the Affinity Starcaster in CAR more than the CV versions, of course if they altered those WRHB's like they said they did for the better that might throw a wrench in the plan.

The CV Esquire is THE one I have my eye on. Of course, we won't see one stateside. Figures.

They are cultivating the market to consume guitars like movies, or clothing - gotta have the new offerings to be hip!

I like the look and price of the CV 50's Precision...if the pickups half decent that could be one big chunk of thump to have laying around for fun!

I'm pretty sure a natural Starcaster is going to end up at my house.

I missed out on the Modern Player ones, and I have a feeling these might be the same guitars, just rebranded

I have a Venus XII. I paid $200 for it. It's actually a cool guitar.

Conversion is simple. Esquires are fun too. Use either the Eldred or Arlo Esquire wiring mods.

I have to be cautious with Squiers as too many of them have skinny necks that I don't get along with. The Clones all have proper chunky necks so I have been gravitating to those. Squier needs to clearly identify thin and chunky neck carves -- width and thickness doesn't tell the story. The thin carves remove wood on the rear shoulders.
