So my friend has this extremely pointy eighties made guitar, but what brand is it?

Pointy.jpg It looks like a Hondo H-1 but it's not because the bridge and placing of the pickup don't add up to where they would be on one of those.

Anybody have any idea on what this is?

No, it's not a Westone raider, the shape doesn't match and the bridge doesn't match either.

That bridge/trem unit is weird, it's like something from an earlier era of cheap guitars than the rest of the guitar looks like! But it would be a strange thing to retrofit, too...

The font used on the truss rod cover looks European to me. I think this is a Czech, East German or some other Eastern Bloc make from the 80's. The trem on it looks like ones I've seen on Warsaw Pact guitars...

Actually it doesn't, at the moment it has a broken headstock so it doesn't play at all.

It's a cool looking guitar, but the points aren't in the right place to stab the bass player and say it was an accident.

it looks like a hondo Death Dagger , although the truss cover logo is different

    s-l300.jpg

I looked up EB guitars (because that is what the logo says if you look at it in orientation)
nada I got gibson EB basses

I tried pointy guitars of the 80'to 2000 came back to the hondo

I tried MW and got Mark wein , who is selling a hondo LOL

I think it may be a knock off of the hondo made overseas
