    It hasn't been a good 12 months or so for MLB Hall of Famers. All these players were the players of my youth and Hank Aaron was the crowning jewel of them all. When you got one of his cards in a 10 cent Topps pack, it was cause for celebration.

    Hank Aaron was a classy ballplayer and an extremely talented one.

    I see that there is a movement afoot to rename the Braves the "Hammers" in his honor ("Hammerin' Hank"). I suppose a picture of some kind of hammer could replace the tomahawk on the uniform.
