Ok, believe it or not... I’m still on my RUSH Catalog Challenge. Of course, I listen to other stuff, but, RUSH is still my basic playlist material.

On to the question.
Is Bytor a hero or villain? I am referring to Bytor and the Snowdog and The Fountain of Lamneth?
Thoughts... clarification?

Didn't he save everyone in "The Necromancer"? I don't remember exactly, I don't think I've listened to that since 1975...

From By-Tor and the Snow Dog:

“By-Tor...Knight of Darkness,
Centurion of evil.
Devil’s prince.”

However, By-Tor is later cast as a hero and a liberator in The Necromancer.

“Prince By-Tor appears to battle for freedom.
From chains of long years
The spell has been broken.
The Dark Lands are bright
The wraith of the necromancer soars away in the night.”

Evidently, he has a change of heart between albums. But good and evil are often a matter of perspective.

We’re a bunch of nerds
