I'm looking for suggestions for a Vibe and a Phaser pedal. Don't care that much about pricing, but I do care about tone-sucking pedals! I like my guitar tone to stay bright and sharp!

For the Vibe, I'm looking for something that sounds like the Rolling Stones' "Gimme Shelter" Leslie or the Vibe in "Let It Loose" -- something that sounds like the Vibe sounds of the late 60s and 70s:

As for the Phaser, I'm looking for something that can give me the tone of "Beast Of Burden" and "Just My Imagination", but also the STRONG sounds of "Fingerprint File".

So in short, I'm looking for some pedals to get me in the ballpark for some ballsy Stones tunes.

Might be a little too wiggy for your needs, but the Zvex Vibrophase covers both.

Source audio’s Lunar phaser will do both and more. It’s digital, but very organic sounding, versatile as hell and if you use the neuro app, you can load all sorts of presets.

I keep loaded on mine the following
    A phase90
An envelope phaser (like an auto wah, but more chewy)
    A univibe
    A flanger
    A chourus
    A wiggly/choppy pitch effect.

I don’t use them all, it’s mostly the vibe and phaser.

    It’s great.

Wow what a beautiful sound on let it loose. Try the ventura vibe. But listen to a couple demos first.

I own the ehx good vibes. Great pedal too

Let It Loose = Rotary Speaker
(a “real” Leslie, a large wooden organ speaker cabinet)
A phaser set on a fast speed can get close.

    Fingerprint File = Phaser

    Beast of Burden = Phaser

    Imagination = Phaser

    Gimme Shelter = Tremolo

Wow, So I learned Let it Loose and have been playing around with it. I am at a loss to get that sound. The Good Vibes is not vibey enough to reproduce it.

Maybe the other suggestions can help. Sorry.

This is the best thing I can think of. I wish I bought this pedal, seems more responsive on clean tones. (VENTURA VIBE by DIGITECH)

For the vibe, check out the Digitech Ventura Vibe.

For phaser, maybe the MXR Phase 90 or Boss PH-2 (stay away from the PH-3)

Just picked up a TC electronic Viscous Vibe and it is pretty rad.

I’ve really been tempted by those boss phasers, why would you not recommend the PH-3?

Are you looking to use both at the same time or seperately.

I suggest MD500 if your going for both at the same time. If your going for individual effects mainly to be used one at a time go MD200

I thought I heard the MXR phase 95 had a passable vibe tone as well as all the classic phase sounds.
I had a Drybell Vibe which sounded amazing, but i had to unload it due to minimal to no use.

The MXR Phase 95 is a good one. 4 different sounds in one pedal. The Earthquaker Devices Grand Orbiter is my favorite, but I sold it like a dummy. The Phase 95 is a suitable replacement, and it’s tiny, so I’m happy.

I haven’t tried a lot of vibe pedals, but I have owned a Digitech Ventura Vibe and could not get it to sound as good as it does in demos. My biggest issue with it was the lack of a level control. When I turned it on I was lost in the mix.

This pedal does a pretty darn good job at 8 of those modulation effects on the cheap. I liked it so much I bought another for the solo rig! The predecessor was the Donner Alchemy at $39 new. Now it's this, identical except color, at a bit more:

The PH-3 is all digital and perhaps more artificial sounding. It has more features, but the board is all SMD and mine has gone bad on 2 settings.
I even talked to a guy on Reverb.com that had one, and his also has gone bad on 1 or 2 settings similar to mine.
    It's nearly impossible to troubleshoot.

Here's what I use, a 90's DOD Vibro Thang. It kind of combines a vibrato and phaser.

I suspect the DigiTech Ventura Vibe kind of brings back this pedal to some degree, based on the sound samples I've heard.
