So, how does your practise room look alike?

Nice! I play guitar, build guitar amplifiers, and am commenting on the TDPRI, but electric drums are the piece of gear that lets me continue to play in a band, which is what makes me want to stick with playing guitar. I could happily go the rest of my life without getting inside of ten feet of a live set of acoustic cymbals.

My practice room is my bedroom

Our new house will be a 4 bedroom so I'm pushing for the guest bedroom to be a music room for me and the kids

Well, a hand grenade would probably restore a little order to it.

We live in 73 square meter 2 stories apartment, so there is no space for hobby/guest/etc. room. You'll have things as they should be, I hope you'll have lots of good times and memories in your new guest - sorry, musicroom.

It's nice that you involve kids to music! I've tried (keyboard, flutes, Squier Pink Mini Strat [I'm the one who plays it ], ukuleles), but they won't get it yet. Just gotta be patient.

And you have very nice gear, congrats! Makes me wanna buy more Teles even more (thanks a lot :D).

    Our jam space.

Our Bass player and his wife (vocals) basement.

The arrangement changes depending on if we have guests over, or just jamming/practicing.

This current arrangement is for having guests, otherwise we move the setup to the rear left corner,
where the coffee table and sofa (just out of pic) are now.

The PR on the amp stand and the 3 guitars to the right are mine.

Far outdated picture... but oh well...

I made a deal with my wife when we bought the house...

"I get 1 room and the garage, the rest of the house you can do what you want with... paint it pink for all I care"

She agreed, and no it's not pink.

    It's kitchen today.

Tomorrow it will be the bedroom most likely ... or kitchen again ... depending on where THEY drive me out :)

    Here is my happy place...

The desk sometimes has a laptop on it for recording. I took the pic from behind the well-stocked bar...

We practice in my drummers living room or the bass player's basement. The drummers place is nicer. I don't have a picture.

20190311_155638.jpg Here's a crappy pic of mine. A bit untidy as we had a gig last weekend and I haven't put everything back yet.

It's a 1200 sq. ft. party room. Full PA, lights, dance floor, bar, couches, tables.

I built my house out in the country about 15 years ago. I was lucky enough to wrangle being able to work from home full time, so we moved out of the big city (Houston) and I built this party room as an "add on" to my home office.

Needless to say, we've had some good times here!

    Cheers,
    Doug

Man, there are some awesome spaces here. The "studio" (LOL) here has been repurposed from an office, but it can suffice for now. Sorry for my pathetic panoramic photo skills... how about that wavy gravy Eagles photo, eh?

Mine is my living room. I'm still young and living alone so let me tell you that this is nearly heaven.

Yep, that's my band's preferred rehearsal space when we're not on headphones in our bass player's home recording studio; rates just increased to $22/hr -- we buy the 12 hr discount punch card for $239 (CAD of course)!!
