So do they just not make metal switch tips?

I search the internet and this forum and eBay, and I found 1 round aluminum tip.

Regardless if what kind of guitar I get I replace the selector switch tip with metal. I don't know how but I have the super power of flicking them right off. And they seem to make them for darn near every guitar I own but this one. Now because I'm lazy and I refuse to wire anything I don't have to my switchplate has been farmed out. I was wonderingif anyone knows where I can find a metal top hat switch or barring that something that isn't injection molded plastic.

I'm open to paying to ha a few fabricated.

This came of of an old 1970's piece of stereo gear. I like the narrow profile and extra length.

I've seen real metal Strat and LP selector caps, but only chrome plated plastic barrels for Tele, and no top hats.

I do. At least I've been meaning to make some when I can find time. Horizontal round boss with a slot in the middle and a set screw on one end. It will be a little like a T handle, but pretty short end to end. Aluminum.

I know this will not be of any use here, but all of my Gretsches have metal switch tips, and knobs. Maybe visit GC on a slow day .....

You can't have looked very hard. The ones already reported here came up quickly when I looked for some myself. I went with Armadillo and it was very well made but $.

I think Van Dyke Harms has 'em. They's not cheep.

They had round ones for 25 which isn't stupid expensive.

I'm thinking either sintered metal 3d printer or get a chunk of
billet aluminum and assault it with a dremel.
