My son and daughter love skying, so they are big fans of both cold weather and snow. My son WILL NOT play golf in hot weather which I love to play in. I used to like to run my hounds when the snow was on in the mountains, other than that, I have NO use for snow. (But I know we need it)

I hate to be 'humbug buzzkill' ( band name?),

but as much as I think snow is beautiful, and have great memories of playing in it as a kid, and young parents ( Northern Virginia), and the romantic nostalgia of snow in College ( Erie, PA )- I just cannot deal with any snow in my aging life, today!

I've had a bad back for 30 years now, can't walk ( won't!) in any snow or ice, if I fall, I could never get up!
Also, could never shovel it now ( but in an apartment now, so not an issue)
Plus I drive so much ( gigs/ Uber driver), and will not drive in snow, until all is really clear.
I literally freak out with anxiety- which I know makes all worse...

I used to be fine, fearless but now a big baby
Come on down to the Houston area- the high temps the next 10 days are ranging between 61 and 82 degrees F. The lows will be 40-70, kinda warm, but NO SNOW! Hope to see ya soon!

Would you golf in the snow if you had a chance?

-15 C out as of 04:10 PM it snowed the past couple of days , cant pull myself to put on a sweater or coat yet , house is 67 F a little on the cool side but thats OK I went out side in bare feet in the snow to give my hobbled deer some apples and seeds ,he came right up to me , but leary , it got cold out before the fall, the trees all have leaves still ( ground was above 55 F before the first snow flake fell) a good day to hunker down and prep the house for the fat guy in the chimney at the end of the month .

all of you afflicted by snow flakes , be safe , I cant say i enough, there are idiots in four wheel drives tht can go in the snow , but forget they have to stop a some point, usually off the road or into the medians on the highway!

No snow yet.

I hate being cold and despise snow and all the hassles that come with it.

I lived in Northern Idaho and had way more snow than I would have imagined, especially coming from So. Cal.

Hate it. Did I already say that?

I prefer heat and humidity. Love being warm. Love wearing one layer of clothes and flip flops.

We've had three or four inches, so far, over about 3 weeks. It's been melting off within a day.

Again, here in Phoenix, we had those fluffy white things in the sky. I think they call them clouds. Light clouds about 70 degrees today. But the night are Cold, somewhere around 50.

Downunder, at least my city, warming up. 31C today (87.8 F) , Sunday should be 35C (95 F). So if it's snowing up your way , maybe things are getting back to normal. That picture posted by kuch looks frighteningly cold. BBrrrr!!

I wish we could get some snow in the mountains! Lake Isabella has become Wasabella, it could use about nine jillion inches of melt off.
I used to go up to Lake Isabella to camp and fish with my grandparents. Once it was so hot that my grandad actually took off his boots and socks and went all the way up to his ankles in the water. I reckon that his feet hadn’t seen the sun since the war, they were a real strange shade of bluish green.

I'll never swim Kern River again.
