Where I live, it's typical to have snow on the ground for 7-8 months of the year. That must sound horrifying to those of you living in warmer climes but it is what is what it is where I live. The awesome scenery more than makes up for it. There is a semi-official program in many communities in Alberta called Snow Angels, where people volunteer to clear the driveways and sidewalks of those who cannot manage to do it themselves. I have been having some serious health challenges and yesterday a Snow Angel came and shoveled my driveway of the recent snowfall without me asking for help. I'm pretty sure it was one of my neighbours and I've been asking around, but in true Canadian fashion nobody wants to admit to being my Snow Angel. In my country it's not unusual for people to do good deeds anonymously but I'd still like to know who cared enough to do this act of kindness for me. My heart is bursting with gratitude and I want them to know how much their actions meant to me.
