    I started using them on my Gretsches to have a bit more pressure on the bridge and get nicer tone with thumbpicking

    I loved em immediately and now they re on every electric guitar I own

    GHS Boomers 10-52 are my favorites...

    I use D'addario 10-52's on everything but my teles (which have stayed 9-42) and I looooove em!

    I'm used to Nationals w/ a 13-56 set so when I go to the electric, the D'Addario 11-49 set feels like rubber bands...

    But I love those strings.

    I did have to file the nut on the low E of my Baja to get that 52 in there. I use Dean Markley Blue Steels.
