Okay, not quite sitar. It's meant to emulate the sound of the Coral Sitar-Guitar

The Burford 'Reefer' (Get it? Coral Reef....Reefer...?)
It's basically an octave-up fuzz with a fast decay.

When I first plugged it in I didn't love the sound. Everything decayed way too quickly so all I got was the a buzz sound and couldn't hear much of the note.
So I put a compressor in front of it and now it's beautiful. Quite a nice emulation of the coral guitar sound (and even a passable sitar sound in a cheesy sort of way).

Maybe youtube demo tomorrow if anyone wants one (maybe even if no one wants one).

Why? The Elctro Harmonix Ravish does it a lot better and there a tons of vids demonstrating it.

Yes, but it costs more than twice than this one.

PS. Also, am I the only one who hates flashing leds?

+2 for hating flashing LED's.

And a severe disdain for blue LED's. And pedals that look like some kind of alien artifact.

Even multi channel LED status can be annoying. That's why they make those things called multi-color LED's.

I think I'll build something called the MacGruber Device just so I can completely fill the topside with knobs, toggles, footswitches, flashing LED's, a LCD readout (or three), and maybe even run a lightpipe around the lower edge...

Sorry for the derail. I guess I am a "superfluous control/status" bigot of some sort.

I remember seeing one pedal called the Frankenstein or something like that which looked very close to your device, the bypass switch was a huge toggle like those on ancient electric stations.
