The shade of Sir Paul's looks very '53 . . maybe sprayed in late '53 ?

So far the under is in the money. I'm surprised too. (This one doesn't count, does it?)

McCartney being my favorite Beatle, his albums after Tug of War didn't tickle my fancy.
Deep Purple's 2020 album (Whoosh) was good, maybe I should get the new Macca.

The new album seems to have been recorded all by Macca, for himself. It's worth a listen at the very least.
I wonder if the vinyl is all analog (in the trailer on youtube he's using a tape recorder).

How can there be 7 pages of comments about this??? LOL!!! Ok... I'll add mine :) I don't know Paul but at his age, I doubt he gives a hoot whether it's vintage or not....just sayin'. If it is then it would've been a custom order even in 54 I believe, unlike today, so... it may well be in excellent shape because it probably wasn't ever played much - as a lefty guitar and all. Did she spend 1500 or 80K? Maybe someone out here knows them personally and can ask the question for us Tele nuts????

All I can think about this with all the "increasing value" comments is all these celebrities could stock up on CS stuff and auction them off for charity a couple years later and do a lot of good.

Have had exactly the same thought. Use it in a video or a live show. Letter of authentication signed by the artist. auction. with money to charity. Fender artists charities and fans... it's a win win win win

Or, in Paul's case, he could just keep and enjoy the guitar HE paid for with HIS money. Let's not forget that Paul already does plenty of good by paying taxes and giving more away to charity than the rest of us will make in a lifetime.

Just because Paul has more money, doesn't mean you have less. It doesn't work that way.

I can't get onboard with telling other people what to do with their stuff.

That wasn't the sentiment he expressed. Just saying that these people who do a lot for charity could effortlessly change their lives and create a load more value

No different to signing an autograph, but for a charity to have the guitar he played on his latest video would be great for them

You have misunderstood my sentiment to such a shocking degree that I don't even know how to respond.

I'm way psyched to hear Paul's new M III stuff, he never ceases to amaze, not to mention at 78 ... the previous Egypt Station has some great tunes.

I can't even think of how many times over the years I've heard of major musicians generously donating gear for charity events, that have brought in huge sums. Seems pretty regular in fact.

I mean, I buy his albums and tickets to his shows, that's literally money out of my pocket and into his. I have to buy all those damn players and amplifiers and speakers and headphones to listen to his (and other's) songs. I buy guitars and all the guitar stuff in part to play his songs. So yeah, Paul is a huge money drain lol :)

Macca is why I got a telecaster in the first place. As a kid in 1970 I stared at the telecaster he's holding on the McCartney solo album cover. Listen to the track Kreen Akrore to hear it.
He's been a telecaster fan for a looong time.
