I have a single input amp.
    I generally play straight in...amp has a foot-switchable boost,
and I am currently thrilled with what I'm pulling out of it.
But I still have a use for my Mustang Floor unit out front.
I have several exceptional settings that
I would like to be able to use it occasionally, and bypass the Floor unit completely when needed.

Will a combination of A/B box before the multi-unit and 1/4" Y cable after the multi-unit achieve that goal?

    Thanks for looking!

    Tom

Bypass loop pedal or boss LS-2. I have also bypassed effects using the two outputs of the boss TU-3 and an a/b pedal

BOSS LS-2... Can't be beat, providing you don't mind having a buffered signal. The buffer is perfectly fine with me, but others may have a different opinion.

    Um....oh.

Silly me...thought a looper was just for...recording loops!

When I Googled a solution....I ignored the few references to loopers.

    Thanks guys!

A million billion words, and we have to pick "looper" for two entirely unrelated application.

Try searching for "true bypass looper" to get what you're looking for, but that will ignore all the fine buffered models available, starting with the aforementioned Boss LS-2.

Hmmm....apparently all my Tele's are equipped with this thing called a
    "pickup selector switch"....fascinating!
