The other singer is Sharon White, Ricky Skaggs' wife. I also saw Stuart Duncan on stage and Doyle Lawson out in the audience. Some other familiar faces, too, though I can't put a name to them.

Sierra is pretty phenomenal - saw her as a last-minute addition to Merlefest a couple months ago. Sam Bush did a guest spot in her set; many very fine notes were set free to the cosmos that night.

elihu - sorry, I don't know about the amp repair situation at Gary's.

Maybe 15 years ago I bought a Hohner flattop with a compensated nut there. But I lent that guitar out about 5 years ago. Emphasis on the "out" It wasn't expensive at all but I got compliments on its tone.
