The one I read is it’s hard to believe the same amount of time eclipsed from 2019 to 1970 as 1970 to 2021.

Not even 20 years, but the years 1962-1972

They made movies (American Graffiti) and TV Shows (Happy days) about how it was only a decade, but we had crossed an ocean of time, and were now unrecognizable to ourselves, and who we had been 10 years before.

Was before my time but a look back and some conversations with my elders shows how quickly a country can go down the tubes. It's evident even if you weren't there. Loss of faith, destruction of family, failed social policies, empty promises of technological advances, etc. I don't dwell on it because it's sad.
