Check the neck on the 76 Tele....... This was rubbed back and oiled by a previous owner.

Looks great and it's a good player to boot

I've got nothing to show. I rarely gig anymore, and try to keep my guitars in mint condition, so there's no wear and tear. Thanks for asking, though…

I don't have any pictures, but the back of my PRS looks like Keith Richards on a bad day. The neck has been refinished and is worn through again in a few spots, the body around the trem cavity is a minefield of rivet dents, the frets are about done, and that guitar fits me like an old pair of jeans.

My '52 J-45 with changed guard etc. It was like this when I got it years ago & I continue to whomp her pretty hard.

i'll have to get out my camera and take a shot of my sg. It is the sg special hh that was a GC exclusive and it has even less nitro on it than the faded series. the gibson website said that it had 1-2 coats on it. needless to say it's already got some wear in the 10 or so months ive had it. A pretty solid patch missing around the input jack, a patch starting to come off the back where you see typical buckle rash, and a couple nice scratches on the back of the neck from my thumb nail (or at least thats how i assume those happened). I saw one in GC last time i was there on clearance that was pretty trashed, but thats almost expected on a guitar that gets tested by a bunch of people and has a finish thin enough to scratch off with your pick probably

    That's approaching Willie Nelson territory.

This occurred naturally on a Highway 1 I used to have, simply by not really taking much care with it... The only 'enhancement' was the forearm wear area.

Thanks. It was my very first REAL guitar my dad bought for me in '79. It's been through hell and back and is still kicking. It has a lot of sentimental value that I could never part with it. :)

I got some x-rays and MRIs that show wear, but you meant earned relicing on axes I guess...
