GFS Double Bound body with a maple neck from an '89 Squier II Strat. I bought the Strat for that neck - one of the best Fender necks I've ever played. Wilkinson bridge, GFS 50s overwounds. One of my favorite guitars.

One piece maple neck 7.25" radius from Musicraft in NJ

One piece ash body from Warmoth

    Lollar Vintage T pickups

I learned how to wire and set up a guitar in the process. Recommend the experience to anyone who is serious. It is a blast! And you get a custom guitar that sounds and plays fantastic!

These are the two partscasters I haven't sold - my Jazzmaster (two piece mahogany body stained and oiled, Staytrem bridge, custom pickups) and the latest addition my Tele (Twisted Tele pickups, aged parts)

Just finished this today, calling it the Econocaster:

    -Paulownia body on eBay:$6
    -Chinese neck:$25
    -Cheapo eBay p90s: $13
    -Stratosphere pickguard: $15

It's a rocker for sure. The neck feels pretty good, and the pickups are neat. I think it was a decent investment!

View attachment 405201 I am still fine tuning this one. Mostly used and a few new parts from most of the non GC brick and mortar stores in Portland. Fender replacement body, 50s MIM neck, Seymour Duncan Vintage for Tele pick ups. One glitch is the All parts bridge has to be set way high to clear the frets. Might need to shim and or loosen the truss rod . Love the pick ups, btw.

Just got the body today. It was supposed to be pre finished butterscotch, but they screwed up I guess. They sent me a two piece unfinished Ash instead. Oh well, it gives me a chance to make it my own, and shoot the paint myself. I am thinking natural blonde possibly. Just filled the divot between the bridge and control plate. I think it was a misplaced drilling, that stopped before it fully penetrated the surface. Overall a nice example from GFS. My neck fits well with not much slop. Pickups are going to be Seymour Duncan bridge and neck.

Transparent blue nitro over bought body blank. Figured maple veneer on top.
Chinese AAA-grade maple neck, now changed to US Fender neck. The Chinese neck looked good, but something wasn't quite right with the truss rod.
Tooled leather scratch guard to give 'blue jeans' look.
Fender 'Texas' pickups now changed to 'Vintage', which are smoother and more balanced.
5-way switching. 0.047uF Orange Drop tone capacitor.
Original Fender vintage bridge saddles now changed to Gotoh compensated.
Of the 14, mostly Gibson and Fender guitars I have, this is my go-to.

My latest Warmoth Partscaster, finally close to completion. Swamp ash body, blonde nitro finish, 59 Roundback neck shape, Wilkinson adjustable saddle bridge, Cavalier pups (Lion King @ neck, Nashville @ bridge). Surprisingly it weighs in right at 8 lbs, but that's perfectly okay by me.

Really looking forward to hearing the Cavalier pups!

What's the body color? Olympic white? I have a Parts Strat that's vintage white with the tortoise guard. Very nice look! The 2-tone burst looks pretty nice, too.
