Swamp ash body, 2011 Logan Custom BSB. Straight plate/straight bridge pickup alignment. DiMarzio Twang King pickups, 4-way switch. Love this guitar.

Sorry, I did not do a thread on this. It is basically a brown dye (Keda) sand back and then I used just a little rosewood stain to add some color and then Tru-Oil. This is the back of the tiger eye on the right in my profile pick. No grain filling by the way.

    Built in my shop: http://www.tdpri.com/threads/vics-big-build-adventures.886325/

That was before we moved. Right now I'm working on getting the new shop set up. Should be back to building guitars soon :)

Interesting how your bridge pickup is not angled. Why did you select this setup over the traditional angled pickup?

Actually, I didn't; this guitar was a gift. So I didn't specifically choose the straight plate/straight alignment vs. the traditional angled alignment. That said, I wouldn't trade it now.

Of course, the premise behind said straight alignment is that of taming ice-pick trebles. Does it do the job? Well, I would say "Yes," but qualify that by saying that I don't have another guitar with these exact same features (solid swamp ash body, DiMarzio Twang Kings) except for the straight plate. So while I can't say that I've A/B'ed the difference, I would still say the difference is real, albeit subtle.

Like I said, I love this guitar. I have four Logan Custom teles, each with different tonewoods, build structures (solid, thinline, chambered), pickups, switching, etc. I love them all.

But my BSB is my go-to gigging tele. The Twang Kings are my favorite pickups, and the 4-way switch is my favorite switch. It sounds great and is so versatile, so it gets the gig most often.

Something about ASH bodies I very much like! These are my two ASH Fenders:

2014 Fender American Standard Strat, which had buckers installed, at the time of this photo. (It’s gone SSS in the meantime.) Sienna SB.

2018 Fender American Special/Special Edition Custom. Cavalier pups. Aged Cherry Burst finish.
