I think these are GREAT guitars. Mine is a 2010 Sunburst.

Here's mine, modified with a DiMarzio neck mini hum bucker and a Klein Epic 52 bridge pickup. The guitar comes already routed and it's a great versatile setup.

My American Special is my number one. Currently, it has a Fender CS Nocaster in the bridge and an old strat pickup in the neck, but I have a Cavalier SRV Tiger on the way. 1487746703339.jpg 1487746710814.jpg

Very nice! I would love to have one of these with a mini-humbucker. It's not in the cards right now though. Good looking guitar.

On screen I really liked lake placid but in the flesh (or should that be wood) it wasn't for me.

It is a Rolling Bender b-bender. It is a great, relatively inexpensive, way to add a bender to your guitar. It takes a little getting used to, as you have to push down on the lever with your palm or wrist, but overall I really enjoy it.

I'd buy one in a heart beat, if they didn't have 6105 Jumbo frets!

    You mean 6100?

6105 is narrow tall, I have those on my Custom Shop Nocaster. They are much narrower than the train tracks found on my American Special Strat!
