I like that guitar quite a lot...
What is that double cutaway? Nice.
Recently acquired Washburn... currently undergoing a nut/scale/intonation evaluation.
The Les Pauls have moved on, but the rest are still in the nest.
1 piece Mango body Explorer = that was a large tree
It's interesting how this American G&L hollow ASAT special manifested itself in my reality. My buddy had a blue ASAT Special w black hardware that I liked playing, it had a cool sound... sort of a more powerful, polite telecaster. I told him I'd like to find one like it with hollow chamber, light sunburst, rosewood FB, and pearl pick guard. About 6 months later he called and said he just got a brand new guitar that he knew I would really like, but I might have to fight him for it! He had acquired it from his luthier friend who got it at some kind of dealer auction, maybe unsold instrument sales for licensed wholesale buyers.
I opened the case and WOW... everything I had imagined. I was intrigued by the unusual grain and color. Maybe it was unsold because of that, who knows. Got it for $500!
I'm a hard core Fender tele guy, but I take this one to gigs as a backup and play a few sets with it. She's a stunner under the lights and sounds and plays super sweet!
I think this might be my favourite thread for a while. I love weird grain.

I bought this Taylor Koa 12 string before I met my "now-wife." When she saw it for the first time, she said, "I know why you like THAT one!"
Why, I'm sure I don't know what you mean. Please explain.
My early 90s Heritage H 550.
This one seems unusual to me as I've not seen many 335s with a top like this.
Some interesting Bocote that will end up on a customer's guitar. I'm somewhat jelous of him................
