2019 Fender Player Plus Top body with a 2018 Fender Classic Player neck. Pickups are Gretsch HS Filter-trons. (I have other Strats with conventional Strat pickups, which is why I wanted this one to be something special.)

Quite interestingly - the Filter'trons have definitely taken on something of a Fendery-Stratty tone quality! The tonal influence of the Strat tremolo bridge seems to be characteristic, even with FIlter'trons.

Wonderful, rich, and sparkly tones coming from this guitar, in fact... lately, I'm playing it more than my "regular" Strats.

This is a SuperStrat I put together in the late 80s. No Fender parts used.
Boogiebody I got from Wayne Charvel, neck is from a builder in L.A. who now works for Fender, pickups are Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 (humbuck in bridge, singlecoil in center and neck), 3 mini toggles for pickups instead of the Fender blade switch, DiMarzio bridge (standard Fender style) wiith steel block and Gibson spacing, Bourns pots, Schaller tuners.

It used to be white, but years of L.A. smog, bar smoke and body sweat have turned it custard yellow. I think it looks better now.

    THANKS Pondcaster
I love them, sonic blue one is more vintage Bell sound, and sunburst one is more High output (Blackfaces)

I've been playing my strat a lot more since recently swapping the body for this featherweight I sprayed with rustoleum and acrylic clear. The JB jnr in the bridge made it more fun to play too.

2018 Player Series Strat in Sonic Red with a Pau Ferro fretboard.
Decked bridge with 5 springs and I added locking tuners as well. My first Strat ever. Love the neck of this thing and everything else about it.

I had an orange body I just swapped out. I put some Texas Special pickups on it.
    49362932338_070f32485c_o.jpg
I just ported it over to a new body. I copper taped the cavity and the pickguard.
    49362925543_41dca9cf56_o (2).jpg
Almost no noise on a single pickup, and no static electricity click when I touch the pickguard.

This is my 80's MIJ Strat family.

    Left to right

Tokai AST-55H 1984? Super Edition Red HSS Strat. Very 80's hair metal sounds. When I got this I had a guitar lurther set it up. He was amazed by the pickups tone. I mostly use this for playing Iron Maiden tunes.

Fernandes ST-50 1984? black SSS Strat. Beautiful maple 1 piece neck. Currently awaiting a pickup upgrade to Radioshop ID Chris Buck pickups due later this week.

Fernandes RST-50 1985? Red SSS Strat. As used my Daryl Hall or Hall and Oates. Rosewood board. Back of the neck has been shaved by a previous owner. Plays like a dream.
