thank you. i guess ill keep a eye out for a standard.
oooops! I almost forgot "sparkie" my latest acquisition. Totally great guitar! I'm leaving her stock accept for the pickguard and tuners!
Show me your Squier
Well, to me, that's one gorgeous mutt, El Cheapo!
You can't go wrong with a Standard. I got mine from CME and she's a blonde bombshell. Nice fit and finish. The neck is perfect for me. Still waiting on my new 'guard, then I'll post pics of "before and post mods".
The classic vibe in BSB. 4 piece pine body. a little bit heavy at 8+ pounds, but not too heavy. Gigged with it regularly for awhile; nothing but good times.
My collection of Squiers remains in a state of flux.
Here is a recent "pile of Squiers"
I also have this modded Bronco bass
But then again, these Squiers have also come into my ownership for a while
My JV from 1982.
The "Hello Kitty" Humbucker Jr. looks really cool...
A pretty crappy phone photo from a couple of years ago taken on a whim as we were moving into our new home (I don't really store guitars just leaning against the wall). Stuff sort of still sitting around waiting for a place. I'll get some recent ones as they've both changed a bit since this was taken but here's two that I still have.
Here's the last four guitars (had two basses as well).
The Cabronita is the only one still with me.
BTW, Vintage Clubber... Love that vinyl pickguard!

Korean Squire, turned into a 'E'Squire with a new solid alder body, olympic white, home wound pickup (7k 42gauge formvar). sounds suprisingly fat compared to my memories of the original body and pickups.
future plans are probably wind a jazzmaster pickup for the neck (possibly sunk under the pick guard) and 4 way switching. make a better scratchplate too, got some decent black phenolic board for that.
Thank you! He does cool stuff! I love the "Candy-O" pickguard in his facebook cover photo...
Just picked up this BSB beauty!!!
Before and after pics of my MIJ Squier....Bareknuckle Yardbird pick ups...
Great project. Try a vynil DIY pickguard... Have fun!
Do you know why I hate you? For the blue Excelsior... Just missed a FSR blue SCX2, to fit with my AVrI 62 Tropical Turqoise strat and my repainted Daphne Blue korean Squier Tele...
