I have 2 questions about this board:

1) Huh? What?

2) Is that a cat toy above the Micro Amp?
I’m guessing you’re talking to to me…?

(1) What “Huh? What?”
What do you not understand?

(2) That is a tiny pewter armadillo. My band is the Screamin’ Armadillos.

The "huh what" is about the round thing at the top that says "Huh? What?" and was meant as a joke. Ignore.

Love the armadillo!
Ah! Lol…I forget that’s on there…I thought you were confused about the pedals themselves.

The little “Huh? What?” is a case for my earplugs and a couple of guitar picks.
The “Huh? What?” is making fun of my own hearing loss and reminding me how stupid I was for not wearing earplugs when I was young.

I have an unhealthy obsession with armadillos 😕

WW
WD ?

What would Willie do?
On the top of that plumbing fitting/mic stand base is the command to “SING REAL!”

“WWWD?” is “What Would Waylon Do?”

For years I would try to sing in a manner or a key that was not really within my natural voice. I don’t know why…maybe a little bit of insecurity about my voice…or maybe some generalized stupidity (probably the stupidity).

Then one day I sang in my natural voice and several people (my wife included) commented that it sounded better…I kinda correlated that to how Waylon always sounded like Waylon, no matter what song he was singing—an original or a cover…so I needed a reminder to sing in my natural voice, just like Waylon would have done.

Thus, “SING REAL! WWWD?”

Here is my very basic board. It is an old turntable plinth. I do not use the DS-1 much but I leave it on the board for when I play my Les Paul. I am looking to upgrade the delay in the near future.

Lots of great boards and pedals here!
This is what I’m currently using with my Americana band (it’s squeezed on a PT Nano!). We play originals by me and the other guitarist, I use this set up with an American Standard Tele and a Epi Dot for the slide stuff and a DRRI. Or I play an acoustic but no one cares about that here do they? 😆

Americana, eh? Maybe it's time to start an English folk rock band over here in the States. Fairport Convention Revival?

You could be on to something there!
In my defence, I’m Canadian (though the others aren’t) and Americana is surprisingly big out where I live in England!

ok, I THINK this is the final version. Previous version was deeper than it needed to be, and had sharpish (unformed but powder coated) edges that worried me about running cables through.

This one is all box beams. Stupid rubber pad on the FS-7 is in the way of ideal placement for the dual lock, i think it'll hold though.

And yes, I know the VE-8 has EQ and a tuner. But the EQ is buried in single knob menus, wink, bite your tongue, and tilt your head left while pressing memory up and turning the knob marked "something completely unrelated"... And its main purpose really is the 500k input impedance for the JJB pickup.

The tuner because I had a couple free inches and loved the sound of a polyphonic tuner.(Which is also why its first).

Not that anyone cares or reads these... but my post should say the EQ is first because of its 500k input, not the tuner.
