These days I’m playing in a Blue Rodeo (Google them!) tribute band so it’s a very simple setup.

- Air turn bluetooth scrolling pedal. I use it with Bandhelper and an iPad because I’m terrible at remembering lyrics.

- Crybaby Wah
- Joyo Tremolo - a great sounding pedal!
- Boss TU2 tuner and Radial Passive DI for acoustics
- Fender Mustang III 4 switch pedal for switching amp sounds
- iPad stand
And it all fits nicely in the catering case.

Check out what I figured out last night (see post #8) in my other thread: Boss Multieffects 2022. I have a lot to learn and I'm purposely reserving some features for "future" use. I'm only using 2 out of the 3 effects loops, haven't touched the CTL outputs, and haven't even thought about MIDI.

I use 2 CTL and midi, so great, also 2 loops

Small changes. Back when I was playing my rack from '94 to '06, I used compressor regularly for cleansounds. When I started playing again around 2010/2011 after pausing, I changed my whole approach in playing with fingers only and no pleks. I also got rid of the refrigerator and went for a tube-combo and some pedals. I didn't use compressor as I felt it lacks dynamics. But now I stumbled over the NUX Masamune and thought yo can't go wrong with compressor and booster.
I'm going to use the compressor mainly for cleansounds, the booster is intended solely for getting more volume for solospots - also mainly for cleansounds. Therefore it's placed first in the effectloop of my amp.

This is the latest revision. I have spent a lot of time watching the Vertex Youtube channel (I know, I know, but the guy knows his stuff), and getting my board into top shape.

What really surprises me is how dead quiet this rig is. I'd attribute that to good power, quality cables (Mogami/Switchcraft SP), and a buffered in/out with True Bypass in between.

Here is the signal chain:
Guitar-> Empress Buffer (In)-> Peterson Strobostomp HD (True Bypass mode)-> Xotic SP Compessor -> J Rockett The Dude -> Neunaber Inspire Tri-Stereo Chorus -> Walrus Audio ARP-87 (Not true bypass, but its going right back to the buffer)-> Empress Buffer Out-> Amp

I saw somebody use the buffer box as a pedal riser, and once that lightbulb came on, the rest came together! Pretty much everything I need and it fits on a Pedaltrain Nano. Not the Nano+, the NANO.

With this rig I can get (At least the TONES) of Brent Mason and Robben Ford, with a few points in between, so it really covers all my bases.

Just wanted to build a nice looking radiused board as I
was getting a few more pedals/looper.
The boards at GC didn't do much for me and I would still have to set them on something as there is no way I can bend down to adjust and play w/settings.

Pretty much used scrap from the speaker cabinet builds.

Was going to just buy a 10 dollar 'TV tray/table at Walmart.
Maybe cut the legs to set at angle?

The 'folding/removable legs were cut from a single 5'x1"x6" piece
of pine.

So it folds up and the legs are removeable, 2 bolts.
Did use my bending mold (from baffle build) to form the
base of board.

but this has been fun!

I was asking about all of it. That is really cool! I need to come up with a solution like that for my loop effects, attenuator, and di. Maybe I can attach something to the mike boom mount on my amp stand.
