My mini board, shoe for size comparison.

This board is powered by a rechargeable battery bank and fits in my skb tsa guitar case with my tele, cables, strap and wireless etc.
Tuner, Tweed and marshall style drives with boost, reverb, tap tempo delay, phase, trems and more verbs, looper. All anolog and sansamp can be run into amp or direct.
I'm planning to swap out the tuner for clip on and replace with a mini sub octave pedal and swap the looper for a auto wah when funds allow.

You could swap your FlyRig out for a new model that includes a tuner, swap the Phase 90 for a Phase 95 (mini pedal) and still have a slot left over for the mini sub octave.
    Keep the Flint.

Is the newer fly rig the same size?

It looks like it is. Check out the Tech 21 website (www.tech21nyc.com).

I wasn't going to remove the flint, swapping the phase 90 would not increase the room enough for another pedal and I don't mind a clip on tuner. I think the clip on tuner would be the only change if swapping the fly rig over other than the vibe on the new fly rig would be a bonus. Ill have to check some comparisons out and see how the newer one sounds and what other upgrades have been done to it. Thanks for the suggestion. This board is tight packed end to end and just fits in my guitar case..

    Nice little board.
I am also satisfied with my clip-tuner - simple Korg cliptuner.
I'd probably skip the the MXR phaser and the Ditto and go for a mini-sized wah pedal instead of an auto-wah, but apart from that really a nice board.

Anybody removing a Flint from a pedalboard shall be ridiculed and humiliated in public and forever forbidden to play electric guitar ever again!!!!!

Thanks, I looked at the mini phase 45 as a replacement but the power input is on the top so no space savings from swapping out the phase 90. The newer fly rig is also larger and wouldn't fit on that board with the flint. I can and will swap the ditto for a mini auto wah (a mini wah wouldn't fit on the board but may just fit in my case) and the tuner for a tc mini sub and up ocatave pedal. The real space saver is that older fly rig.

I would replace the shoe with this one. Put it first in the chain of course.

Cheers to all. I'm using the Radial Shotgun to split my left and right, so both my Orange Rocker 32 (love it!!) and the Neunaber Iconoclast cabsim underneath get a noisless stereo feed. I use the outs from the Iconoclast to record simultaniously, whilst (thats right, whilst. lol) playing at volume without worrying about mic bleed. Works like a charm. Just took some time to dial in what the Orange combo/speakers sounds like.

We record/print wet. I find recording with effects saves you from the endless desire to tweak in the DAW. There are almost always happy accidents this way, and the recordings feel more natural. Give it a try. Remember its supposed to be fun.

Mostly ambient instrumental stuff going on. Good good fun with friends.

Also, no I'm not a Lawyer or a Dr. I've spend the last few years flipping gear on Reverb.

--Orange Rocker 32 stereo 2x10 combo.

Happy playing to all my musical brethren.

I would have thought for sure you were doing Clash covers with this rig.

I updated my drive section, the first updates to this board since 2017, which is a big deal (to me)!

Just added a DMC-3XL and a tap tempo. The tremolo of the Flint and the delay of Timeline are both synced with the midi-clock. I can run the whole thing stereo or sum to mono.

My dream pedalboard. Versatile and awesome albeit a little on the expensive side...

    In the chain:
->TC Electronic Polytune -> Keeley Compressor -> EarthQuaker Devices Hoof (fuzz) -> Wampler Tumnus (boost / overdrive) -> EarthQuaker Devices Dunes (overdrive) -> Eventide H9 Max (modulation) -> Strymon Timeline (delay) ->ISP Technologies (noise reduction) Strymon Flint (tremelo / reverb)

    Not in the chain:
    One Control Gecko (MIDI-controller)

    Any thoughts?
