I heard that small one is a bit more quiet. But I have a soft spot for the huge big box EHX pedals.

Put Plimsoul on in place of the Jet Driver. Great bluesy overdrive! Ended up with the Sustain control almost all the way down, and Hi-Cut at about 2 o'clock.

The pedal selection and cable routing aren’t final but this is my bamboo shower mat pedalboard.

Still making changes. The ehx Soul Food was replaced with an Analogman Prince of Tone. Still need to mount the Chase Tone '68 Red Velvet Fuzz.

This is the last one for a while, I swear!

Now I have to rearrange everything.
Can't decide if I want the eq on front row or the Echoplex.

It's been quite a while since my last post... today I did the only major change in ages... new patch cables... EBS Gold Flats... they get very good reviews and they are actually cheaper than Mogami, DiMarzio, Lava and MXR... I AB'ed cable by cable, starting with the guitar straight into the amp and then the board one patch at the time before final placement... I didn't notice any difference (bear in mind my hearing is iffy after years of having loud amps behind me... lol).
I've been using Lava for the last two years, they were good but still a little too crammed in for my taste... now I have the MC404 and the FV500H back on the board...

I built this one for fun, out of spare pedals from the junk drawer.

I've tried a bunch of different compressors in my main rig and never liked them. They just don't work for me through the baby Marshall clone.

On the other hand, I love those '80s clean, compressed, chorused guitar sounds. Think bands like The Fixx, 'Til Tuesday, Suzanne Vega, Simple Minds, Tears For Fears... this board through a clean amp (or two) will do those sounds.

    1. Korg Polytune
    2. MXR Custom Comp
    3. DIY Paisley Rat
    4. Busted Cry Baby shell re-purposed as a volume pedal
    5. Boss DD-3 delay
    6. Boss CE-3 stereo chorus

Glad to see another Ventura Vibe user, pretty sure you’re the only other one I’ve seen on this site!
