Longest it's gone unchanged since I first put it together a couple years ago... Ran out of room clearly, but what's cool about having that 80's CS9 as an optional attachment is an additional buffer (one of the best I've used) at the end of chain and it seamlessly splits your signal into stereo with no ground loop or phase issues whatsoever.

My current board into a tech21 power engine 60

Crybaby Bass Wah > HX Stomp

up/down preset that I rarely use - can get most everything I need form one preset plus engage boost and or delay

Nano with Ojai underneath for power - have 2 spare supplies for off board if needed

Hoof is great. A modern take on a vintage sound. The Shift control is great for dialing out the muddiness in the bass as you increase the fuzz level. I use it primarily for Gilmour type stuff so I don't have the fuzz up too high, and add a little compression....good to go!

Replaced the soundtank compressor soon after my last post. Picked up a Rat for dirty fun but didnt like the sizzle that I couldn't dial out, so I got rid of it and snagged the Dracarys. Brought home the Subnup and tuner yesterday.

Redid my travel board too. Here's what it looks like both in and out of the case.

    My travel board
    Nothing special
I usually run a 5 band EQ,Tomsline on there but I’ve been playing with the El mocambo so there isn’t room till I figure it out
It’s more fuzz then OD in my opinion but it interesting

What are your thoughts on the Tentacle? How is the tracking?

It's cool, it tracks like a green ringer/Octavia so not well? But it's not suppose to. It's more for gnarly tones and it pairs very well with a fuzz. That said it's currently not on my board, been using the fulltone octafuzz. That's a photo of my board now. I'll put the octafuzz or tentacle underneath

Stumbled upon a bamboo bath mat on amazon that looked like a good candidate for a pedalboard.

I raised the rear with a piece of scrap wood and replaced the hard plastic feet with some non slip rubber press ons. Found some good Velcro that’s very sticky.

Haven’t fully put it together yet because I had to order some more Velcro.

It has promise and I have good hopes for it.

That’s fantastic! Much better than the small board I built from leftover flooring cutoffs. I may have to see if I can get one up here like that.

Yours is still pretty cool. Here are the Amazon links for the stuff I used for mine:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076J8W2M6/?tag=tdpri-20

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M8I6YLH/?tag=tdpri-20

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N4Q34XY/?tag=tdpri-20

I guess it wasn’t all that cheap, $25 for the board, $20 for two packs of Velcro, and $10 for a package of rubber feet but it’s still cheaper than a commercial one would be for the same price. Also, I’m a terrible carpenter and this was damn easy to put together.

I built my old pedalboard around 1980 and only recently retired it so hopefully I’ll get the same use out of this one. If I live that long.

5A8F71B6-E9B2-42E4-94EA-3F45E45B442D.jpeg I know this may sound weird, almost unheard of even. ...But I tweaked my little pedal board again! Swapped out the Switchblade ABY and replaced it with a tuner (also allows quick instrument changes) and added a cool little Outlaw Lasso looper.

    T,,you like that Jimi fuzz?

Never been a fuzz fan but have been thinking of playing with one a little and those pedals interest me
Just wondering if I can cut it down to doable level
Fuzz was always just to much noise for me but if I can just dab a little on top of my OD might be good for making leads stand out

The “board” is a Holeyboard product. Solid. I have the vol/wah pedal up there in the effects loop just before delay if I’m using it as a volume pedal. If I’m using the wah extensively, I move that pedal down in first position after the guitar and before the compressor. I don’t gig. Nowhere near good enough yet:).
