Tc does not currently have shimmer. They do not have a pitch/octave algorithm for reverb. T2 has some really ambient verbs but not a "shimmer"

Behringer rv600 is probably the most affordable verb with shimmer. Line 6 verbzilla &m5 both have it as well. Pretty cheap on the used market.

The RV-6 was worth every penny of the $150 I paid. The shimmer on it is fantastic and I also like the other modes (plate and modulated are nice, too). I also like the +delay mode. I stack it with my DD-7 delay for some great sounds.

I did look at the Behringer, but I had a bad experience with a Behringer pedal a while back and am a little gun shy.

I just bought a used walrus audio descent, it's my favorite reverb I have ever had.

Nice vintage Q-Tron. Is it noisy?

Actually it's not too bad for noise. I mainly use it when playing bass. On guitar I find it a bit 'quacky' and hard to tame, so it's never been a mainstay of my rig. Still like it though :)

Generally speaking, I love the look of those old-style EHX boxes, so if ever I see one that's reasonably priced I snap it up. If they ever get reissued ill have to restrain myself. They're just so much fun to stomp on.

I absolutely HATE the new ones - so damn ugly.

That's funny, I'm the exact opposite. I like the "brutal" industrial look of the current EHX pedals but the old ones look flimsy to me (and "look noisy", if that makes sense).

    Different strokes...

Found a mint one on reverb for $175 & couldn't be happier with it.

My goal is to get to an all Walrus board.

Their stuff is top notch and looks cool as all hell.

    Tuner->Deep Six->Warhorn->Messner->Julia->Descent.

    Like that thought...

Last update. Both Dyno Brain and DM-3 will be replaced with a Nocturne Mystery Brain, as soon as I'll receive it. Few pedals, lots of options and lots of fun.

The Mooer Shimverb has tube, room and (drumroll) shimmer.
BUT it is not the usual octave added, instead it's a quinte, therefore it sounds quite different compared to shimmer like Strymon, Line6, Behringer.

I've had the shimverb and still have a shimverb Pro I can't sell. The shimmer doesn't sound great in my opinion. I have several mooer pedals that I love, those aren't my favorite

I have a Shimverb myself - it sounded okay with my Laney TT20 and directly into mixing desk (for my acoustic), but rather annoying wirth my main amp H&K Edition Tube 20th.
A lot of pedals sound completely different - meaning with a range from great to hurtful - on different amps.
I just don't like the shimmer as an effect and I have far better reverb pedals.....at least it's small and doesn't afford much storing space!
