I really enjoy watching your board evolve. Always great pedal selections. It's fantastic that you can get your whole chain into a PT Pro. Congrats and nice job.

Speaking of pedals....I am seriously considering trading some gear and opting for a Fractal AX8.

Thanks! I enjoy it as well. I'm not really in 'need' of anything at this point, but I would eventually like to get a true bypass looper, and now I have the room to do so.

Quick side note - I set up the Joyo American Sound as a 'tweed' drive and played it on a couple songs this weekend. Wow. Just wow. Love that this pedal was $20, and largely my cheapest pedal, and I've found a bunch of uses for it. I will say it added a bit of hiss/noise with the gain and character up where they were, but nothing audible in a band context.

My Gretsch into this board into my Blues Junior was amazing for the songs we did this weekend. It was a wonderful time to be a guitarist

Don't feel bad about the Joyo. My Tech 21 California is my noisiest pedal too. It must be inherent in the design especially with all of the gain available, but as you mention, not enough to eliminate it either.

I get the same sort of hiss/noise with my Big Muff on either side (fuzz or OD, even with light gain)

Idk what it could be. Maybe boutique does pay off in some instances, like lower noise floor?

I am so happy with the Joyo American no noise with the gain or voice 12 o'clock or below

I've had dead quiet Dano Deli pedals, so I'm not to sure, but I think the Character Series is inherently noisy because of the huge gain potential. Good to know that tele-bastard had a quiet Joyo American.

What's funny is if I use it as a 'clean amp' into the PA, no noise. But as an OD, it adds a bit of that background hiss.

Trying to reduce size and weight I put together a new pedal board. I was building my own but decided to try buying one. I picked the T-Rex Tone Trunk because it is tiered. I don't care for the slanted style. I also decided to spend the dollars on a better power supply. I avoided this in the past but ran into some finicky pedals, none of which are actually on this board. I debated over the 45 with a mini wah or a 56 with a full size wah. I went with the 56 to be safe although I am still on the fence if it was the right option. I bought a mini wah but haven't used it on a gig yet. Plus I added an indicator light to the full size pedal and like having it. The Flashback could have been replaced by a Univibe but decided the Flashback would be more useful in the band I'm currently in. Mainly because it will do that triplet thing. We don't do any songs at present that use that effect but have contemplated adding a few.

The pedal sequence is wired like this; Wireless/tuner, Wah, Boost, Clarksdale, Catapulp, Chorus, Flashback delay, Analog delay, Reverb.
