welp I have joined the darkside. After years of playing without any pedals I have finally given in and bought a small pedaltrain board (I've accumulated a few stomps here and there).

Still needs power, and I'm planning on ditching the Jackhammer and the Boss Delay in favour of more mini pedals. I also want to get a small LCD clock to put on there (I'm anal about knowing what time it is).

This is mine, but not for much longer. I made the mistake of thinking this pedalboard would be sufficient for my needs. Actually it is sufficient for my needs, but not sufficient for my GAS. When I bought that first pedal, I figured one or two more would do the job, but I think I need another row.

    What I have so far:

    What I want to add:
    Earthquaker Devices Hoof
    Strymon Flint
Booster (if it turns out I need one)
Some sort of looper, Boss RC-3 likely
    Voodoo Pedal Power 2

    Am I missing anything?

Recently put on a new Temple Audio Duo 24, that's why there isn't any cables . Chain:

G&L Tribute ASAT Deluxe/MIM Tele -> Boss Compressor -> VS XO Dual Overdrive -> Matthew Effects Klone -> VP JR Tuner Out -> POG2 -> Eventide Timefactor -> Hall of Fame Reverb -> Fender Blues Jr Deluxe Tweed

Probably could get another reverb, but i'm pretty happy with where i'm at.

No, you are not. Really most of us COULD get by with lesser pedals, but if you take what you have and add what you listed you want, you'd have a heck of a setup.

My only suggestion is you could get a second delay that has a looper built in, or a Ditto Looper and a second delay.

I love my Wampler Faux Tape, but I like having a second delay that will do a dotter eight, so I have my Alter Ego x4.

    Of course, YMMV

My small one from BOSS 3for2 promotion. OD3>DD3>FRV1. Covers surprisingly a lot of sounds. Still experimenting with placement. I call this rockabilly board :) ImageUploadedByTDPRI1451330768.582706.jpg

I took a very long break from the forums, but it's good to be back!

Here's what I've been playing with for a bit now. It's way, way overkill, and I DEFINITELY don't need four drive pedals, but oh my gosh is it pretty fun!

Just put a pedal board together, having been a guitar straight to amp type for a long time. Pedal board is by Coffin Case and the order is :

    Fender Tele > Peterson Stobostomp 2 > Marshall ED1 (Edward the Compressor) > Marshall Drivemaster > Marshall RF1 (Chorus/Flanger) > Marshall DSL401.

Still experimenting with the settings as to what suits me but it sounds fairly good so far.

    Andy

Yeah, I'm an old VH fan. I bought the Block Phase 90 new in 1980 and finally got the vintage 117 a few months ago. I've been waiting 35 years for this board :D
