Cool board did you make that?

Need to start using those wire holes. :)

Upped the size of my board to try and keep fewer pedals off it and at home, and even with a Pedaltrain Pro I still have to keep a couple off. Guess that's a sign I need to sell a couple I don't use much. Recently added an Analogman Prince of Tone, a Catalinbread DLS MkIII, and the MXR DC Brick power supply (will likely add a second now that I've tried it).

Still working on arranging things where I want them and then I need to route wires, but I think this is roughly where I'll be at.

I've posted my board before but I recently added an Earthquaker Devices Organizer so here it is with the new addition.

How do you like that SFT? I've wanted one for a while for mid-gain sounds. What do you use it for?

Yes, a Catalinbread Karma Suture. It's based on a circuit from the '70s called the Harmonic Percolator. It's a fuzz/distortion unit that generates "even-order harmonics", which makes it very musical sounding. It gives me GREAT overdrive, gritty distortion and fuzz and responds very well to playing dynamics, guitar volume/tone settings and different pickups. I love it!

I absolutely adore my SFT. It has a nice distortion range. But when I kick in the RC Booster in front of the SFT I can get some really nice, heavy sounds.

I've always been pretty satisfied with just an overdrive and a reverb (for the Champ), but here's what I've ended up with over the years:

    Boss Overdrive (OD-3)
Ibanez UE 300 (an absolute joy -old school tube screamer, great compressor, natural sounding chorus)
    EH Little Big Muff
    Pro-Co Rat
Behringer TP-300 Tremolo-Pan (cheap knock-off but does the trick if you only need a wee bit of tremolo)
    Boss Digital Delay (DD-2)
    Marshall RF-1 Reflector

(I've left a bit of space before the Marshall, for the Hoton Wally Looper which I'm expecting any day now:))

I use a Strat Deluxe with Texas Special Pickups and (recently) a Tele AVRI 52. The rig goes simultaneously to a Fender Champ 600 and an Orange Crush 35 LDX, which I basically use as a flat speaker)

One more update. Gone are the VS-XO (really unsure about that move as it was a fantastic double OD), and moved the delay and reverb onto a different setup, so here's my pre-mod board (pretty happy with my drive selections now).

Added... a surf green limited edition Timmy for low-gain and a Barber Compact Direct Drive for the other end of the gain spectrum, as well as a second power supply.

What patch cables are you using there? How do you like them?
