The most recent reiteration of my board...nothing fancy, but it gets it done.
The latest incarnation;
TC Electronic Flashback delay
TC Electronic Polytone 2
Just ordered the Polytune Mini and HOF mini reverb,or the Acoustic chain.
This is actually the stripped down version for regular guitar playing (less ambient, solo experimentation)
My most Recent incarnation: BOSS PH-3 -> BOSS PW-2 -> EHX Stereo Pulsar -> Marshall Echohead with tap tempo. Rechecked all pedals I had, thought what I want to do and it seems that this is it. Well, maybe lacking boost. I self impose 4 pedals limit, so few stayed out of my board (nano muff overdrive, britt face, jackhammer and behringer vintage phaser).
Here is my DIY board
Cool, I could really do something with a little board like that. Although if it was mine, the RV-5 would be on modulate!
I am kicking the pedal habit.
The over drive and the wah are a must have.
How do you like your SHOD?
Besides the wah, which I don't use much, I'm really happy with this set up into my Twin Reverb. Thinking of either upgrading the wah or going with an auto-wah/envelope filter but for now the basic Vox does the job.
Yes sir, all stock.
incomplete setup, a lot of changes lately, but took this photo two months ago
My set up will get me through any situation!
Hey- got a Zoom G3 on my board for modulation, delays etc great bang for buck! Use Fulldrive and Red Snapper for OD boosts though.
lol...that actually made me chuckle.
I've been messing around with what I want. So far I have this down to where it is pretty self contained.
I now need to build a top for it that will help hold everything in place during transit.
More to come,
This board is officially full...
I don't like sideways pedals, but these are "always on". The boost and gate pedals are right after the tuner and are engaged only for single-coil guitars.
Yet another new incarnation: The harmonica mic feeds into the CryBaby wah, then to the right channel of the Echo Park, then to the Mic input if the Excelsior. The guitar feeds into the Vox Big Bad Wah and then to the left channel of the Echo Park and then to the guitar input of the Excelsior. The Wah "effect" sounds horrible with the blues harp, but the pedal offers instant changes to the set-and-forget harmonica tone. By adjusting it slightly with my foot I can get a dark, deep tone or a bright, slightly overdriven tone, or set it to a relatively neutral tone.
Sorry about picture quality. My old iPhone isn't what it used to be...
