    This is super awesome!

The Paisley Drive is a really cool pedal, I used to really want one but I had sort of forgotten about it. Oh boy, here we go again...

Agitator - you gave up on the CS-2? My all-time favorite compressor (and I tried a lot). Needed compressor for lap steel and the CS-2 was the one that actually worked. Now I use it on subtle all the time.

It is a really great overdrive pedal - especially with a telecaster!

I'm jumping back and forth between threads. I talked about this in the CS-2 thread. I dumped it from this board because it's for a Jerry Garcia tribute band and I really don't need it. I was using it on some songs where I switch between chording and single-note stuff. Now I feel confident enough now to try doing that all with my hands. I've been using it less and less lately and the last few practices I haven't used it at all. Actually, I unplugged it for half of my last gig because it was outdoors and I couldn't see the LED to tell if it was on or not.

Problem is that the compressor was really killing the dynamics on my solos and it was easier to take it off the board altogether rather than spend time tweaking it to try to get a good "happy medium" sound.

I'll never dump the pedal altogether, though. I've been using it for reggae for 20 years and recently got a second CS-2 by trading my friend a PT-1 pedalboard.

Just replaced the Fetto Standard with the AC Booster. Smoooooooooooooth!

Signal flow is: Teese Picture Wah > Turbo Tuner > SP Compressor > Sunlion > AC Booster > EP Booster > Octafuzz > Supa-Trem > Arion Mod'd Chorus (mostly used for vibe) > Flashback.

I love mine because its not as mid humpy as my ts and it plays really nice with a volume knob. The longer ive had it the more i love it.

Ok, I guess I'm just missing something. What's with the Altoids boxes on everyone's pedal boards?

That was my first thought but I figured that was too easy. Ok cool. Thanks!

Easy to get & relatively affordable low gain OD with decent tone.

The Keeley mod evens it out and makes it much more usable (wider range) and flexible. Good OD to use with single coils.

I'll agree with most of the first sentence. But it will do a unique fuzz at high gain settings. I found the opposite of the second sentence - easier to get a good tone out of the stock model for me. Keeley came and went.

And in a band mix, the BD-2 works better with tweeds than blackface fenders, but YMMV.

Nice. I'm a fan of that Dano Vibe. I think it it performs especially well with a clean tone too .....I've got one with both the volume & delay mods/fixes. Fantastic little gem.

...as for resisting the urge to fill the gap w/ another pedal....my guess is that you don't succeed in that mission for very long :D .....plenty of goodies out there that could fill the space up nicely :D

Yeah, one of my all-time favorite pedals, especially for the money.

I only have to distract myself for another 22 hours or so... :D
