Most foot switches for Fender-style amps are just make/break connections. It's just 2 single pole single throw step switches with the grounds tied together, wired to a stereo 1/4" jack. The cord splits off to 2 RCA jacks. Might sound complex, but it's not. If you need to make one, feel free to PM me and I can draw you a little diagram and parts list.

After spending a year with just a distortion pedal and a boost pedal, I decided to add some more flavor and got an overdrive and fuzz pedal, as well as a switching system because I got tired of the tap dance. I plan to add a delay pedal in the next few weeks for some slap back on my leads.

I finaly went for it and got the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2+. I also added a volume pedal. The board is almost done, just a few more to squeeze on there. The chain is-

Whipple Wah, Boss TU-3, Tonebender MKII clone, Keeley SD-1, Matsumin Valvecaster, Keeley CE-2, EB VP JR., Boss DD-3, MXR Carbon Copy

The ABY is only used at home. I just like to mess with both amps.

    Here's my pedal board! :D

Being a living room player the only pedal I use on a regular basis is the JamMan, but sitting on carpet it and the footswitch move around when you stomp them. I just applied some anti skid under each corner of this unused cutting board I had laying around, and used auto trim mounting tape (very strong gray double-sided tape) to stick the devices in place. They hold to the board very well, but can be removed with a sharp blow to the board, or putty knife.

    EDIT:

After playing with my new pedal board it just seemed to high tech and "gadgety". Also made the tone too "woody".

So I'm back to pedal and footswitch on carpet...

Much better tone... more plush :D

Well, I just joined the pedaltrain family with my purchase of a new pedaltrain jr. Found a dude that had one on Craigslist for $70 and the think was still in bubble wrap. It's the version with the soft case. Anyway, here is my new pedal setup. Anyone have any thoughts? Should I be running anything differently. I'm liking the sound I'm getting right now with both my tele and my strat. Now I'm saving for a pedal power 2+ to replace the one-spot that's powering the board now.

Mine as of this past week. The new additions are the DD-20 (replaced an Analogman-modded DD-5/tap tempo box) and the Keeley-modded TR-2.

Boomerang III and Side Car on a Pedaltrain Mini. Fits perfectly. Gap in the middle is needed anyway to keep the Bonus and Stack buttons separate. Ends up being quite a big looper but has pristine sound, different loop modes, 3-4 loops and reverse/octave, fade-in and out with hands-free operation.

    Does the trick for me.
