Just redid the office. Basic clean to down right dirty. Nothing more or less.

Today’s boredom. Amazing how seriously good those FAB pedals sound. Those and the chorus were the gems of the bunch IMO.

I was tired of my Vox MV50AC launching it's self off the top of my cab, so I surgically removed it's handle and implanted it into my Boss pedalboard. My Behringer tuner (got clip-on) and my Marshall reverb (too heavy) were removed to make room.
Sorry about the mess in the background. I'm busy rebuilding/destroying an old HH VS Musician amp.

I didn’t realize when I posted my board the pic was not the most current iteration of it.
All the same stuff but I swapped locations for the Rat and the DM-2.
The Rat sees more action as far as on/off but the signal chain remains the same.
The relocation also helped reduce the amount of cable length so I guess that counts as a good thing.

I've made a few recent additions/revisions to my pedals, with the aim of having this be as useful as possible for bass and guitar.

First, I sold my Tech21 Bass Fly Rig and bought a Para Driver to replace it. This is a very flexible preamp as it has a sweepable midrange from 160Hz all the way up to 3kHz, as well as a great drive knob and a blend. Plus I can use it to record direct.

The Fly Rig had a couple other features that I wanted to keep around, a tuner and a compressor. I really like this Korg Pitchblack X that I scored used for a good price. The Behringer CS400 isn't really what I want out of a compressor though - I will likely send it back and try to find a replacement.

The latest acquisition is the MAS Effects Expanse pedal, which I just wrote up in a NPD post. The very short version is that it's a harmonic tremolo with some other stuff on top and it's a lot of fun to play with.

Aside from the compressor, I'd also like to replace the Donner noise gate at some point with something that has an effects loop. But that can wait.

Signal chain:

Korg Pitchblack X > Behringer CS400 > Joyo Splinter > EXH Bass Big Muff > The Expanse > Broughton Low + High Pass Filter > Dinner Noise Killer > Tech 21 SansAmp Para Driver DI

I added a Lehle 3at1 switcher to combine my main guitar, lap steel and my acoustic (direct to desk) board. Works nicely, but I had to re-arrange the pedals on my main board for better reach. I'll get some new cables and tidy it up, but it works for now....

My board hasn’t really changed in a few years and you have seen it before a few times, so here’s the little shelf of stuff not on the board. Its in one of those ikea bookshelves with the glass doors so you get to see it all the time.

I was effect-less for a decade or so, my Tech 21 TM60 has channel switching and Accutronics spring reverb, and those features sateisfied my needs for normal home guitar playing, although I don't shy away from effects and use them when I am recording with my Zoom R8. I noticed, that playing with delay helps my timing, and that is what I was on the market for, but when this ancient piece of plastic showed up for like 70euros, I said what the hell, it's a tad more than a delay, and so what?

This is the current incarnation of my small pedalboard.
I'm considering to ditch the Mooer blues mood, because I seem to have all my OD-needs covered between the Nordland and the BB preamp. I'd probably replace it with another delay. The Belle Epoch sounds great, but is rather finnicky to tweak between songs for slapback/longer delay.

Is the overdrive distortion similar to a OS-2? Looks like it has the same controls especially the OD/DS knob. If you turn it all the way to the right does is sounds like DS-1 or ds-2 on mode 1? And if you turn it all the way to the od side does it have an Sd-1 type tone?

I started to build this two-level board (top level is removed here). I even bought tolex for it...

But then got a smoking deal on a Boss GT 100, and I jumped on it.

Now I'm stuck with an unfinished board, a brand new Mondo, and a pile of pedals that are collecting dust. Love the GT-100 though.
