    Thanks a bunch!

Bigsbys are cool, I know. But I already own a Gretsch equipped with one and I just want this to be a straight up rocker. And besides, Bigsbys are hella expensive..

I want to add a small pickguard as well, don't know what colour yet. Black single ply? Tortoise? White?

My next guitar is either gonna be homebrew La Cab (probably Sherwood Green) or a Strat.

    They seem pretty awesome.

Just finished putting together my La Cab using body, neck and hardware from MJT. I'm over the moon with how it's turned out. The only thing I might change would be the bridge but it should be fine for what I need. It's only a light relic finish so it's hard to get pics of the work.

    Hey Falzoony,
    Nice!!
I got a MJT Lacab about this time last year but ended up selling it and have regretted it ever since. I replaced the saddles with some nice milled stainless steel ones I got from Fretco, no need to change out the whole bridge.
    Cheers!

Double bound swamp ash body, nitro finish, flame maple neck, Kluson machines, Hipshot bridge, TVJ Classics, 11nF cap on the push/pull pot. Sounds nice, but I like the alder one better. Probably gonna sell it.

Am in the process if modding my peavey generation ex vintage. I filled the whole neck route and have painted the guitar. I put an old humbucker that I had laying around in it and am wiring it to a 3 way switch which will be series/split/parallel. I can't decide if I should go with no guard, white guard or black guard though so tell me what you guys think! This was an extremely cheap build and I think I only spent around $75 on the whole thing (guitar included) but if I really like it I might have to go over it and spend a little more on better paint job and pickup for it.

The alder body sounds just a little warmer.
