After looking around to buy a Gibson Les Paul, and as they seem highly priced, of most Gibson Les Pauls, I decided to give it a try and purchased a Korean Les Paul with a hard shell case on Reverb, for just $320. Circa 2002. Needless to say this thing is a kick ass beast. Why pay more! So, Show us your Epiphones.

These were inherited from my dad, who liked Epiphones:

    101059-000.jpg 105436-000.jpg

The pickguard on the LP was originally mirrored. The one on the Joe Pass is worn, but Dad foresaw the rarity of those and had a spare squirreled away with his other guitar stuff.

There's also a Pro-1 acoustic in his collection and I have a FT-150. The FT was a good guitar until the top pulled up, and it's not worth the cost of getting it repaired, so it's now decorative.

My number one Epiphone. A MIk Joe Pass. It has upgrated pots, jack and 50's wiring. I removd the pole screws on the pickups and it sounds very Gretsch-like.

This is my limited edition reissue Crestwood. I installed genuine Gibson mini humbuckers in it but it never gets played.

My long Gone Epiphone Coronet (?) Serial number 30603. If you see it, let me know!

Used to have a Sheraton II and a Chet Atkins SST. Currently in the stables: Wildkat and a IB Lennon Revolution. I rewired the Wildkat to 50s Gretsch specs and installed a roller bridge. Much better now.

I like this one. Comes with '57s and a thin finish. IMG_20190606_155801479.jpg

My Korean Standard with Gibson 57 Classic pickups. I just sold my 335 Dot but may replace it with a 339.
